Fender American Vintage '62 Stratocaster 'Thin Lacquer' Color: Olympic White Year of Manufacture: 2008 Overhauled (fret leveling, neck and string height adjustment, etc.) This is a rare thin lacquer model (extremely thin lacquer finish) produced for a limited time during the period when Yamano Music was the distributor. The pickguard (as pictured) and selector switch (to a 5-position type) have been replaced, but the original parts are included. There are some minor dents and sun fading, which add to its character. Due to the extremely thin lacquer, this guitar will continue to age beautifully. I especially liked the natural figuring on the back of the neck. The hard case will be packed in cardboard for shipping.
