I found these in my grandmother's storehouse. This is a set of 4 beautiful pressed glass bowls (B), likely from the early Showa era. I occasionally see similar items at antique fairs, second-hand shops, and antique stores, so I believe they were in circulation back then. I've seen them priced from 400 to 1000 yen each. Although they are pressed, not cut, the patterns are delicate and understated yet beautiful. The texture is neither too thin nor too thick, and they seem like they would fit right in on an everyday dining table. I use a few of these myself on a daily basis. They're perfect for vinegared dishes, mixed vegetables, mini salads, and also look cool and cute when serving ice cream or jelly. As they are old, there are slight individual differences in shape and thickness, but they appear to be free of chips and scratches. Approximate size: Diameter: 11.3 cm, Height: 3.8 cm.
