I touched the main body when taking the photos, but I have not touched the blades. This product operates with AA batteries, but I haven't been able to test it as I don't have any at home. The outer box has some initial staining, and the lid is torn, so I will tape it closed before shipping. Rotary dual-blade only. 24-karat gold plating is used, which is less likely to cause metal allergies. It's very compact and easy to use.
