This is a Daiwa 4.5m telescopic isogawa (fishing net handle). It's a length suitable for use on both rocky shores and breakwaters, and being an older item, it's sturdy. The closed length is 1m 18cm. There are some scratches, thread wear on the grip, and surface rust, but it's a fishing net handle, so if you don't mind these, it should still be usable.
