I used these for about a year, three years ago, when I was going to a dance gym twice a week. I haven't used them outdoors. Therefore, there is no wear on the heels. The toes and the instep area have some dirt. I don't see any dirt or scratches on either side. The box is a different type, but it's a Mizuno box.
