This is a light blue-gray komon (patterned kimono). I've worn it a few times, but there's no noticeable damage. It's a dark, grayish-blue with white plum blossoms (ume-bachi), but because the design is abstract, it can be worn any time except mid-summer. It's a washable polyester kimono. Although it's synthetic fiber, the fabric is thick and doesn't look cheap. It's suitable for lessons, casual wear, or even as a slightly more formal komon with a Nagoya obi.
