Ceremonial Commemorative Medal, November, Showa 3 (1928) This is an old item, so please check the condition in the photos. The medal itself appears to be in good condition. Established in 1928 (Showa 3) to commemorate the enthronement ceremony of Emperor Showa. It is said to have been awarded to those who attended the enthronement ceremony. The front of the medal depicts the "Takamikura" (Imperial Throne) and "Michodai" (Imperial Canopy) of the Imperial Palace's Seiden (Main Hall), and the back features the Chrysanthemum Imperial Mon and the words "Ceremonial Commemorative Medal," as well as the characters "Showa 3 November."
