On the Tobu Railway Main Line system, there used to be rapid and semi-rapid trains that ran directly between Asakusa and Aizu-Tajima Station on the Aizu Railway via the Yagan Railway, operated by three companies. The 6050 series, owned by the three companies, featured cross-seats, which is rare for private railways in the Kanto region. The trains departed from Asakusa in a 6-car formation (2-car formation x 3 sets). Along the way, the train would split at Shimo-Imaichi, detaching the train bound for Tobu Nikko, and then at Shindo-Fujiwar, entering the Yagan Railway, detaching two cars, creating a "three-story" formation. These beloved rapid and semi-rapid trains were discontinued on April 20, 2017, with the launch of the newly built limited express train "500 series Liberty." The 47 train, which was the last semi-rapid train departing from Asakusa at 16:40 on the final day, April 20, 2017, has been made into a product.
