A French female artist makes these handmade brooches. They use a single type of wood, but the body and tail colors are subtly different. The tails are colored with natural pigments and dyes. From the tips of the paws to the eyes, everything is very small, but they are carefully carved, and you can clearly see the expression of the hands even from the side. Also, the large tail, which is the biggest feature of the squirrel, has a gentle unevenness, and the fluffy tail is well-represented. There are two pin fasteners on the back. Why? If you attach one pin sideways to hide it from the front, you need to place it below the center, and if you do that, the brooch itself will bow and face downwards when worn.
