Quartz Crystal Bowl These bowls are made by pulverizing quartz crystal and heating it to form a shape. A (La) = 432Hz tuned set of 7 bowls. Diameters range from 12 inches (30 cm) to 7 inches (17.5 cm). The musical scale is from C (Do) to B (Si), the seven notes of Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Si. There are no semitones. The high-pitched crystal bowls A and B produce sound easily when rubbed with a rubber mallet on the side of the bowl. The weight in the two cases is approximately 15 kg.
