It is a footed tray from the Meiji era, with Wajima Togidashi Negoro-nuri and cloth-covered base. Something that appears to be shell powder is sprinkled on the surface of the lacquer. I am not sure if it is shell powder because I am an amateur. There are scratches, cracks, and peeling of the lacquer around the top of the four sides and on the corners of the four sides, and the cloth grain is slightly visible. There are also scratches, cracks, and peeling of the lacquer on the bottom of the feet. There is a slight wobble in the feet on the four sides. There are scratches and dirt overall. Please refrain from purchasing if you are nervous because it is old.
