This is a haori (Japanese jacket) that has been stored in a paulownia chest since before the Showa era. The exact age is unknown, but it may be even older. The original owner was born in the Meiji era. The outer fabric has a pattern resembling bamboo grass, and the lining is white with a pattern of vines. The family crest is a single "sagari fuji" (hanging wisteria). As it is a very old item, there are many scratches and stains, especially on the inside lining. The outer side has some scratches and stains, but we have included photos of the noticeable areas from the 12th photo onwards, so please take a look.
