Interpretation of "Iroichi pottery": "Ichinokura Sometsuke" by the first Kohei Kato: This is a sometsuke porcelain characterized by fine line drawings, made in "Ichinokura," a production area of Mino ware. It was made by the first Kohei Kato and was also supplied to Edo Castle. Representative pottery of Mino ware: Mino ware includes various types such as Oribe, which is characterized by its vivid green glaze, as well as Shino, Kiseto, and Setoguro.
