Besides using it for fruit punch, I think it can also be used as a champagne or wine cooler, or for things like somen noodles or cold soup. I have stored it after using it twice. The bowl has a stable weight of about 2.6 kg. There are 8 cups, but one cup is slightly unstable (I don't think it will be a problem for use). There are no cracks or chips, but it's been stored for a while, so please purchase it if you understand this.
