Thank you for viewing. This is a rice bowl purchased at an antique market. At first glance, it looks like a horse, but upon closer inspection, it has long whiskers, so it's a dragon. The surrounding design features fragments of clouds, so it's definitely a dragon. Between the dragons are precious jewels. Since there are flames, they are called flame jewels. The combination of jewels and dragons is often used. This pattern is sometimes seen on soba noodle cups. The overglaze red is beautiful. The gold accents are also nice. I was told it's from around the mid-Showa era. There are two hairline cracks. Other than that, there are some scratches from use, but no major chips. Please check the images carefully.
