US ARMY These are knit gloves from the US Army. Deadstock from 2003. Unused with tags. They are the TYPE 2 Cold Weather gloves. Brown/Coyote color. While black and olive are common, this color is not often found. Made with a hard nylon blend, they surprisingly repel water and won't get soggy in rain or snow. I was able to have a snowball fight with my kids while wearing these. In the military, they are used as an inner glove for leather gloves in extremely cold regions, but in the Japanese climate, they are warm enough to be used on their own. Of course, they can also be used as an inner glove for windproof gloves. The size is small. I think it's a good size for Japanese people. Because they are stretchy, they can be used by a wide range of people. Unlike leather, they don't require much care, so it's convenient to keep them in an outer pocket or in your car for when it's cold. Thank you for your consideration.
