This is a Yūki-tsumugi紬 (silk fabric) with a jumping pattern in the color of gardenia (kuchinashi-iro). Length: 153.5 cm (suitable for people up to about 157 cm tall) Front width: 22.5 cm Back width: 28 cm 裄丈 (yuki丈): 63 cm Sleeve length: 49 cm The warm, soft texture of the yarn unique to Yūki-tsumugi and the bright gardenia color look beautiful in this season. It's difficult to convey the color in the images, so please search "kuchinashi-iro" in a Japanese color dictionary. The color of the lining is not yellowed; it's a yellowish color from the beginning. The hem facing is a color like yamabuki-iro (deep yellow-orange). There is a very small stain on the inside of the left sleeve (Image 6). Stains on the lining (Images 7 & 8). No stains on the collar (Image 9). I have inspected it carefully, but please forgive me if I have overlooked anything. This was one of my favorite pieces, and I often received compliments when wearing it. I've decided to part with it because I have fewer opportunities to wear kimono. The obi (sash) is not included. Also, although it was a wide collar, I have sewn it with thread to make it a notched collar for easier wear. Because Yūki-tsumugi is thick, I wanted the collar to look neat. Please understand this. Currently, it is stored in a paulownia chest wrapped in tatō-gami (paper wrapping), but it will be folded for shipping. Additional Information: There are very faint, spot-like stains on the lining that don't show up in the camera. If you are concerned, please refrain from purchasing.
