Busoni was the kind of person who, upon encountering excellent music, felt compelled to arrange it for piano (and, incidentally, add his own personal touches). Besides the Bach/Chaconne, he left behind a considerable number of arrangements. Some, like his piano arrangement of Liszt's orchestral arrangement of his own Mephisto Waltz, are characteristic of his arranging prowess. The outer box shows some minor scratches. The disc is in good condition.
