This is a Tanekashi Ningyo (seed-lending doll) from Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine in Osaka. It's approximately 4.5 cm tall, a hand-molded antique. It's considered a deity for safe childbirth, but it's also said to bring blessings for a bountiful harvest and prosperous business. There is some soiling. I am also selling various other folk crafts.
