This was passed down from family, so it's just a guess, but I think it was probably purchased at the souvenir shop on Pearl Island. I don't think it's a high-end MIKIMOTO brand item. It has a simple design. How about for a celebratory occasion? It's unused, but the outer box has aged somewhat due to home storage, though it's not very noticeable.
