This is an inkstone that my family used. A carving of a soft-shelled turtle is on the top. The size is approximately 19 cm long, 12 cm wide, and 1.5 cm high. The ink that was used has adhered to the box, and it cannot be removed. Judging from the color of the stone, it is likely a Duan inkstone.
