This is a set of vintage Fender tuners, commonly known as "F key," estimated to be from 1967 to mid-1974. In addition, I'm including one "late F key" tuner made by Schaller, estimated to be from 1976 to 1981, as a bonus – the reason is explained below. Comparing the photos of the backs, you can see the difference in the late F key. There are 6 + 1 = 7 tuners in total. This set was removed from my 1974 Stratocaster. The original 12 mounting screws and 6 peg bushings are included. Regarding the condition, I've used the above vintage guitar in its original state, and of course, the tuners functioned normally. However, there was, naturally, some variation in stiffness and a bit of stickiness. I decided to replace them with new tuners when I had the guitar refretted. I found the inconsistent torque and the slight stickiness a bit stressful, but this is subjective, and some people accustomed to vintage instruments might not mind at all. Those who are particularly sensitive might be concerned, so please refrain from purchasing if you have any concerns. Of course, I used them regularly, and there were no critical issues with the tuners' function, such as not holding tune or being too stiff to turn. Also, one of the tuner shafts was bent, and I replaced it with a later-model "F key" of the same shape, so I'm including that one as a bonus as well. I want to be clear that I replaced the tuners to improve the "comfort" of using the vintage guitar frequently. The atmosphere that vintage gear exudes is something that cannot be replicated by relicing, and the screws and bushings are all included, so I believe this is a good item for those who understand. The guitar that these tuners originally came from (a Fender '74 Stratocaster) is shown in the reference photos. As you can see in the headstock, it now has Schaller tuners. Everything in the photos is included (the guitar in the photos is not included). Please understand that these are used vintage items, and they are sold as-is, with no returns.
