I'm currently reading Yuko Yuzuki's "Butter" and have only gotten about a quarter of the way through. I'm also quite busy, so I think it will be a while before I finish it. But when I do, I'll put it up for sale, so I'd appreciate it if you could keep it in the back of your mind. I'm reading it while constantly consulting an electronic dictionary, so I don't know how long it will take. Of all the Western novels I've read, Keigo Higashino's works are the easiest to read and I highly recommend them! Today is a bitterly cold day, and it's snowing lightly. My recent medical checkups were fine, but I've been feeling terribly unwell. I'm also tired from things like cleaning up due to the demolition of my house (and to top it off, I slipped in the bath and hit my head on the stone floor...). I never nap, but when I lay down on the sofa where my beloved cat, Shiro-chan, who passed away last March, used to sleep when he wasn't feeling well, tears just started flowing and wouldn't stop, so I couldn't sleep. Instead, I came to have some coffee nearby. Like Saisei Muro, "I am so lonely now." I miss you so much! Speaking of the novel "Butter," I'm thinking about putting it on freshly cooked rice with soy sauce, or on mochi with butter, soy sauce, and sugar. How tempting! It would be fattening, but it sounds delicious. Butter... but in the book, it seems to be some kind of special butter.
