・Artekill is a device that allows for kill switch-style playing without modifying your guitar. It attaches securely using strong adhesive tape and can be removed when needed. Simply connect the included cable to your guitar's output jack, then connect the device's output jack to your guitar amp or effects unit, and you're ready to go. ・The device features two types of switches: a push-button switch and a toggle switch, allowing for different playing styles. 1. Push-button switch The sound is muted while pressed and returns when released. 2. Toggle switch (ON-OFF-ON) This is a special ON-OFF-ON type internal mechanism, and it's unlikely to be found in any commercially available products or even in modified kill switches. A standard ON-OFF type would result in a similar playing style to the push-button switch, so a toggle switch with a completely different effect is used. The sound is muted in the center OFF position and returns in the left and right ON positions. Rapid switching makes the sound tremolo-like. While it can be used like a typical ON-OFF toggle switch, it's difficult to achieve reliable ON-OFF playing because it's easy to switch from the OFF position to the opposite ON position. ・A rubber tube is included to improve the operability of the toggle switch. By covering the plastic lever and lengthening the grip, operability is improved. Cut the tube about 5mm longer than the lever and then put it on. ・No batteries or external power are required. ・The plastic case is lightweight and has rounded corners, making it less likely to scratch your guitar's finish. ・The only difference between this and the Artekill TypeC is that the plug and cable are integrated; the switches have the same specifications.
