This is a set-up made from a remade Kuro-tomesode (black formal kimono). The waist is fully elasticated. A 2.5 cm wide elastic band, approximately 80 cm long, is temporarily secured with safety pins. Please sew the elastic to fit your waist, making it larger or smaller as needed. There are five belt loops sewn on the waist, made from the same fabric. There are a total of eight tucks, four in the front and four in the back. The pants have a diamond-shaped gusset in the crotch to allow for a wider range of movement (see photo 15). The diamond shape provides extra room inside the pants, allowing for a relaxed fit. Adhesive tape is used around the neckline as a core and on the edges of the diamond-shaped gusset to prevent fraying. The selvedges are left as is, and the cut edges are finished with a serger. Photo 6 shows the top tucked in. As shown in photo 8, the bolero can be arranged as a stole, or you can wear a jacket instead of the bolero. If you would like a pearl elastic band for use as a stole, it is available for an additional 110 yen. A simple ribbon pin made from the same fabric will be included. In photo 10, there appears to be a stain on the back left side of the top. In photo 16, there are many small black spots on the pants. It is unclear whether these are part of the pattern, stains, or possibly mold. These were present from the time the kimono was purchased. Therefore, the item is offered at a slightly reduced price. Please consider this before purchasing. The item has not been pre-washed. It was made as is from the kimono. Although it has been ironed, there may still be creases from the kimono or pre-existing stains. This item was made by an amateur as a hobby. There may be imperfections such as loose threads, unevenness, and overlooked stains. Please consider this before purchasing. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
