・ Hand-painted in red and black, 　with beautiful colors and wood grain. ・ Made by Yoko Abe (1932-2021). 　She also turned the wood herself. 　Her teacher was her husband, Heishiro Abe. ・ Soft lines, a lovely expression, 　a red hair ornament, and a distinctive well-frame and striped pattern. ・ The one-piece construction of the head and body is a tradition of Kijiyama-kei Kokeshi. ・ Awarded the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Prize at the 　65th National Kokeshi Festival Competition in 1989. ・ Purchased and stored by family from the workshop. ・ No stains or scratches are visible, but there is some fading. ・ Dimensions: Height approx. 30cm, 　Bottom diameter approx. 6.2cm ・ Material: Possibly Itaya maple This is a Kokeshi with a pure and high level of completion.
