Set of 5 Edo period Japanese medical books. ① Obstetrics Enlightenment, Volume 1 (Photos 2-5) ② Obstetrics Enlightenment, Volume 2 (Photos 6-8) ③ Obstetrics Enlightenment, Volume 3 (Photos 9-11) ④ Obstetrics Enlightenment, Volume 4 (Photos 12-15) Some of the binding threads are coming loose. ⑤ Title Unknown (Photos 16-19) Believed to be a medical book related to obstetrics. All are old paper media, so there is discoloration, stains, and dirt on the paper due to aging, but I don't think there are any noticeable tears in the pages. Please understand that these are old items stored at home.
