Price: 1,400 yen. Paper case. This is the "Seventeen Letters of Wang Xizhi," also known as a masterpiece of Wang Xizhi's cursive script, published by Seigado. The calligraphic model is based on the Emperor Taizong of Tang's imperial copy, but among the many engraved editions, this is the Yusei-sai edition, said to be directly engraved from the true copy of Jie Wuwei of the Tang dynasty. This is an excellent edition that closely resembles the original and is an invaluable reference for studying Wang Xizhi's cursive script. ■Condition■ The paper case has yellowing and ink stains. The cover has ink stains. There is a stain in the upper center of photo 3, but the rest of the text is clean (please refer to the photos). This is a used book.
