Martin D-18, 1979 This is a Martin from the 70s. The spruce top uses high-quality, tight-grained wood. While there are weather checks and some dents, there are no cracks, and it's in good condition considering its age. The mahogany sides and back also use high-quality wood, and while there are minor scratches, they are also in good condition for their age. The neck is made of high-quality mahogany and features an SQ neck with a steel core but no truss rod, and there is no warping or twisting. The bridge is not lifting. The nut, saddle, and frets were replaced three years ago. The string height is approximately 2.25mm on the 6th string and 1.75mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret (less than 0.5mm at the 7th fret when capoed at the 1st fret and pressed at the 15th fret). I purchased this guitar 20 years ago from a vintage shop in Osaka and have cherished it. At 46 years old, it has a mature sound, and it produces a wonderful tone for both fingerpicking and strumming. It pairs well with the Anthem pickup (51,800 yen) and is ready for live performances. Comes with a genuine Martin hard case.
