This is the initial version of the Clarett OctoPre. It supports 24-bit/192 kHz A/D-D/A conversion, and I've heard that many people use it as a converter. In addition to the ADAT optical input/output and interface functionality, and the microphone preamps, it also features 8 channels of D/A conversion, enabling 8 analog outputs. I purchased it used and have been using it for drum recordings. It's a great-sounding microphone preamp that can record the character of the microphones as is. You can also add character using the Air function. It was rack-mounted, so there are signs of use such as scratches, but all channels worked without any problems during the last recording session. The included accessory is the power cable. The original box is not included. I will also include an ADAT cable.
