The gingham is made from 50-count yarn, 3.5-ounce broadcloth. The yarn is finer and thinner than oxford cloth. It feels smooth and supple. It can be worn as an inner layer in the fall, winter, and spring. You can also wear it in the middle of summer if you roll up the sleeves. The good thing about broadcloth is that you can wear it all year round. The Modified Fit was created by quantifying and researching the silhouette trends of the last 10 years. Starting with a tight fit in the 2000s, the trend has recently shifted to a slightly looser fit in 2018. In addition to these silhouettes that are in demand, we consider the original "functionality as a shirt" and "dimensions that fit the Japanese physique" and incorporate the dimensions and curves of each part into the pattern. The body has a good fit, but it's not too tight. The shoulder width is neither too wide nor too narrow. The length is around 72-3 cm, so it can be worn with the hem out or tucked in.
