These are hand-carved ebony masks and wooden swords made from wood whose export is strictly restricted by treaties such as the Washington Convention. The wooden sword does not have a tip because it would be considered a weapon, so the tip was shaved off for import. They are highly valuable, and the hurdle to obtain them is high. They are displayed as amulets. I have the same items displayed on my wall at home.
