Set of three sometsuke (blue and white) long, sasano-ha (bamboo grass leaf-shaped) plates featuring painted shrimp and medaka (Japanese rice fish), made by Heian Hakun. With maker's mark. The paintings are hand-drawn. ★Sizes: (Large) Approximately 24.5 x 9.5 x 2.5 cm - 2 plates; (Small) Approximately 12.5 x 4.5 x 2 cm - 1 plate These items were carefully stored at my parents' home since the Showa era. They were only used when guests visited. I believe these are elegant and useful plates. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about minor imperfections.
