My child only wore them for outings, and only a few times after I received them. They fasten with Velcro, and the laces are elastic, making them very easy to put on. I have done a basic home cleaning, but there are some stains and signs of wear that are difficult to remove. During the product inspection for listing, I noticed a small hole in the sole of the left shoe. They should still be wearable unless it's raining.
