This is a two-piece obi, with the part that wraps around the waist and the taiko (drum) part separate. It is adjusted by threading the string through the ring. This is quite old, having been stored in my parents' dresser. It has a handmade feel. It may have been made by deconstructing a kimono. The front side is generally clean and I think it would look lovely when worn, but if you open up the waist-wrapping part and look at the back, there are quite a few stains on the obi core. They won't be visible when worn, so please consider this if you don't mind. Also suitable as a material for remaking. Waist-wrapping part length: Approximately 205cm Waist-wrapping part width: Approximately 15.5cm Taiko part width: Approximately 30.5cm From the peak of the taiko part to the tip of the drape: Approximately 92.5cm The taiko part has a 60cm folded-over section. See photo 2. In photo 6, there is a mark, like a scratch, on the lower part of the taiko. There is also a slight storage odor. Shipping method may be changed.
