I made a shoehorn from a used skateboard. The colorful layers of the skateboard brighten up any entryway just by being there. Length: 58 cm (measured without the string) Width: 4.5 cm at the widest point. Polished smooth with 600-grit sandpaper. Lacquer finish. Skateboards are made of Canadian maple, which is a very strong material. It is said that it takes 30 to 80 years for the wood to grow before it can be harvested. I created this with the intention of giving valuable wood a second life, rather than discarding it. This is a handmade item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
