I bought these in bulk two years ago at a closing sale for a recycled kimono shop, but I ended up buying them without considering how they would match my other kimonos, so I haven't had a chance to use them. The edges of the fabric have been pinked. I think they can be used for patchwork and other handmade projects. These are kimono scraps or fabric that has been unpicked and washed, so I believe the material is silk. I have stored them in a paulownia chest since I bought them.
