This is a pure silk fukuro obi (a type of sash for kimono). It's difficult to tell from the photos, but it is gold. I heard it was purchased for around 200,000 yen. There are stains on the lining and inner plain weave, as shown in the 4th photo, and stains on the surface, as shown in the 5th photo. The formal design makes it suitable for weddings and coming-of-age ceremonies. I inspect items carefully, but oversights are possible, so please understand.
