The color is navy blue. I bought it the year before last and found it useful in seasons other than summer and winter. I've worn it quite a bit. It's also waterproofed, so I think it's okay for light rain. However, I don't recommend wearing it for extended periods in the rain. It's only for short periods in light rain. It's not a raincoat, so it's not suitable for heavy rain. It's also designed to be less likely to attract pollen. There is no lining. The fabric is thick and has a firm, sturdy feel. It shows signs of wear, but I think it's still generally okay, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor imperfections to avoid any problems.
