The capacity is when full; when actually used, it will be about 70-80% (2.45-2.8L). There are a few places that look like chips on the bottom of the iron kettle (indicated by the finger), but these are made during the manufacturing process and are not defects, so please understand. (Even on the manufacturer's website, Nambu-type iron kettles have these kinds of chips.) The handle (tsuru) does not move. A lid rest is included. *As you use it, red rust will appear inside the iron kettle, but this is not a defect.
