Artist: Peggy Gou Title: Traveling Without Arriving Label: Phonica White Format: 12" The latest release in the limited [Phonica White] series from the popular London record shop Phonica Records is by Peggy Gou, a rising DJ/producer from South Korea, based in Berlin, who gained attention with her "Day Without Yesterday" released on this label in 2016, and has also released on [Technicolour], [Rekids], [Ninja Tune], etc. This record delivers a superb, floor-friendly deep house sound, with solid rhythms and pure tones and chords, creating a minimal and electronic atmosphere. The B-side also includes a remix by Ge-Ology, a rising New York artist who gained attention with "Moon Circuitry" from Theo Parrish's [Sound Signature], which is also nice.
