This popular old Tokai guitar is in surprisingly beautiful condition for being 40 years old. It's an 80 series, a higher-end model featuring a deep neck angle and fret edge binding. Needless to say, the construction and materials are different from those of today, with specifications unique to this era. The pickups have been replaced with Gibson 390 series pickups in both the neck and bridge positions. In a sense, it has a more Gibson-like sound than current Gibsons. In my subjective opinion, there are no issues with sound muddiness, buzzing, or pot crackling/noise when played through an amplifier. Shipping will be in a hard case, packed with air padding.
