This was originally a trio purchased from an antique Meissen shop, but the saucer was broken by my beloved cat, leaving only the cake plate and cup. I was very disappointed because these were my favorite roses, but they were very helpful as a reference for painting. I have never used them as tableware. The yellow roses are difficult to paint, but I think they can be a good reference for shadows, etc. I think this would be good as a sample for those who paint, or as a collector's item. I don't know the age or origin, but I was so moved by the passionate painting of the artisan that I couldn't help but buy it. I think it's different from the current Meissen. (In the current Meissen, the same artisan doesn't paint all the sets, and various people paint the same pattern, and there are also mistakes that are rejected, so different paintings by different people become a set.) This set (there were 6 sets, but the cornflower and roses were broken) is a work painted entirely by the same artisan. How about it for hobbyists and collectors?
