This is a 2.0sq grounding cable used to prevent electric shock and noise in microphones. This phenomenon occurs when there is a potential difference between the instrument and the person playing it, and the microphone, resulting in electric shock. An earth cable is helpful in such situations. To connect it, clamp the alligator clip to the plug of the guitar or bass shield plugged into the amplifier. Then, insert the other cannon connector into an unused channel of the mixer or multi-box.
