This is a bolt of genuine Yuki-Tsumugi silk fabric, navy blue with an 80-kikko (tortoise shell pattern) total kasuri design. It is an old item, but in good condition. The fabric has already been water-treated (yu-toshi). This is an Important Intangible Cultural Property. The weaver is Fujinuki, Tatsutaya. It is likely from the latter half of the Showa era (1950s-1980s). Even then, the price was 800,000 to 1,000,000 yen. It is enough fabric for one kimono, but the width of the bolt is similar to that of fabric for women's kimono. It has a neat appearance and is recommended for women. Material: 100% silk. Width: 38cm.
