This is the "SQ948" desk stand light released by Panasonic in the 2000s. It features a matte black body, and the shade and console have wavy lines for a sophisticated design. The thickness and balance of the base are also exquisite. It's likely that a highly skilled product designer was involved. Overall, it's in good condition, but there is a spot melted by heat near the left neck when facing the front (see image 12). However, it's not very noticeable from a distance, and there are no functional issues.
