This is a ligature for a BORGANI FLEXITONE tenor sax rubber mouthpiece. It was useful for Otto Link and Ishimori rubber mouthpieces. It's also famous for being used by Joe Lovano. The size is adjustable, making it versatile and suitable for most tenor rubber mouthpieces (and some baritone mouthpieces, etc.), so it's a very convenient ligature to have. It produces a good, solid sound. While Rovner leather ligatures are also versatile and good, they tend to make the sound too subdued for band performances, so this one was very useful.
