It comes with a tea strainer, so you can enjoy not only Japanese teas like green tea, gyokuro, and sencha, but also various types of tea like black tea, herbal tea, and Chinese tea. As a characteristic of Hagi-yaki, you can enjoy "Hagi no Nanabake," the changing colors of the pottery as it's used. "Hagi no Nanabake" refers to the way Hagi-yaki vessels (especially matcha bowls) change color and gain character over time with use.
