Thank you for viewing. ◆ Handmade Square patchwork mat Old cotton cloth / Kasuri Kasuri Length: Approximately 47cm x Width: Approximately 69cm ・ This is a Japanese-style multi-mat made with square patchwork, using many colorful kasuri fabrics such as old cotton cloth, Kurume Kasuri, Iyo Kasuri, and Bingo Kasuri. ・ The edges are navy sheeting, and the back is made of sheeting with an "antique books patch pattern (chocolate gray)". ・ The front fabric, back fabric, quilt batting, quilt wadding, and interfacing are sandwiched together to create a moderate thickness. ・ The quilting is done by machine, and the edging is hand-sewn. ・ I think it would be lovely to use it as an accent for the foot of a bed, chest of drawers, sofa, entrance, or in a Japanese-style room. ‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥ ※ There was one hole or fray (it seems to have occurred when the kimono was unpicked?) (I have applied interfacing to the back, so it should be fine...) (see the last photo), so I have listed the product condition as "has some scratches and dirt".
