A removable thick felt inner boot (approximately 9 mm thick) is included, providing excellent insulation in cold regions. --- I bought these a few years ago when I went to a ski resort in Hokkaido. I've used them dozens of times. While there is some wear and tear, I've maintained them after each use, so they are in pretty good condition. I wore them on days when the temperature dropped to minus 20°C, and I didn't feel cold at all. I really like them, but they are a little too big for me, so I'm selling them.
